This organisation is a well-established pre-training facility who is about to embark on a new and exciting phase. Based out of private farm in Kilmore, we pride ourselves on delivering racing excellence and this next chapter will see us deliver results we haven’t seen before.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced racing person who has managed thoroughbreds in either a training or pre-training environment. Someone who is able to manage both the horse and the track-riding schedule. This role will see you working closely with the Director and the Racing and Office Manager on a daily basis.
- Principal point of contact for horse related matters - liaising with trainers, farriers, vets, suppliers and providers.
- Daily management of the horse schedules, including delegation of track and stable staff.
- Ongoing management of technological inputs, data analysis, research and reporting and communications to relevant parties.
About you:
You have a passion for organisation and a professional manner and are looking for a dynamic and fast paced role.
- Proven experience as a senior leader in a racing stable
- Relevant qualifications in equine management or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to ride a plus but not a necessity
