McEvoy Mitchell Racing is a leading Thoroughbred Racing Stable with state-of-the-art facilities in Ballarat, Victoria.
We are currently seeking a full-time Stablehand Assistant for our morning crew located at our Ballarat stables.
Daily duties of the Stablehand Assistant (5:30am – 12:30pm Monday to Saturday, no split shifts) include:
- Mucking out boxes and yards to a high standard
- Refilling boxes with new sawdust
- Maintaining and cleaning all areas of the facility
- Horse handling experience would be looked upon favourably.
Sundays are worked on a one in three roster.
The successful candidates will enjoy above award rates commensurate to their experience.
