Godolphin is the largest and most global racing team in the world with an impressive tally of 304 G1 wins in 14 countries since our inception. We have the following exciting opportunities available at our Crown Lodge operation in Warwick Farm, Sydney:

FULL-TIME STABLEHAND/RIDER – CROWN LODGE

Reporting to the Foreman and Assistant Trainer, Stablehand/Rider tasks include:

• Early morning starts.
• General day-to-day care of the horses including, mucking out, feeding and grooming.
• Taking nominated horses to and from the races.
• Ride horses on the racetrack in a professional manner in accordance with the Trainer/Assistant Trainer’s instructions.

CASUAL SESSIONAL RIDER – CROWN LODGE

Reporting to the Foreman and Assistant Trainer, Sessional Rider tasks include:

• Early morning starts.
• Assisting with the preparation of horses for trackwork, including tacking up, hosing and dressing horses as and when required.
• Ride horses on the racetrack in a professional manner in accordance with the Trainer/Assistant Trainer’s instructions.

Essential

• Strong and highly competent horse handling and riding skills
• Sound communication skills.
• Ability to take and follow instructions.
