Stablehand - Gold Coast

Lees Racing is currently seeking ground staff to join our GOLD COAST stable. Positions are casual and weekend work is required. Must also hold a current stable hand registration with QRIC. All applicants should have prior horse handling experience, be reliable and motivated. The successful applicant's duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Attend race days and trials if required;
• Work weekends;
• Mucking out of stables, filling/cleaning of water buckets, feed bins etc.;
• Cleaning and sweeping of stable areas, general maintenance/tidying;
• Swimming of horses;
• Leading horses to/from trackwork and on/off walker and
• Saddling up horses for trackwork.
