Grampians Racing is located at the foothills of the Grampians (15 minutes from Stawell), its crowning jewel is a unique 2km undulating deep sand training track through the naturally occurring sand dunes on the 100 acre property named, Tra Intire Stables (Gaelic for ‘inland beach’). Founded in 2020, the Stables possess an established 1,600m grass track, boxed stables, day yards (with shelters), splash pool, swimming pools, water walker and equestrian arena. This rapidly growing business has 20 dedicated and passionate team members and supported by an equally enthusiastic leadership group. With a collective ‘can-do’ attitude, an exciting future lies ahead.
Reporting into Andrew Bobbin (Trainer), as the Stable Foreman, you will be responsible for leading all equine development and operational matters – working closely with the team, owners and suppliers to support Andrew in delivering seamless and efficient processes that drives performance and behaviours. Built on four uncompromising principles, Grampians Racing is committed to: a genuine love for horses and a dedication to their welfare; ‘doing it differently’; superior client engagement that is purpose oriented with team at the core and; enjoyment for all.
With a proven background as a Stable Foreman, you will be known for your exceptional horsemanship, leadership and relatability to people. Your initiative, drive, and resourcefulness will assist in shaping the future of Grampians Racing.
In addition, we’re looking for Track-Riders and Stable Staff (full-time, part-time or casual). Whether you’re in the industry or not but have a passion for working with horses or in the great outdoors and you’re a genuine team player, we’d love to hear from you.
