Join one of Australia’s most iconic racing stables in a role that puts people at the heart of performance. Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing is looking for a dynamic, hands-on HR, People & Culture Manager to lead all aspects of HR and staff engagement at our renowned Randwick base.

With more than 160 Group 1 victories and a legacy rooted in the legendary Tulloch Lodge, Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing is a force in Australian racing. What you’ll be doing:

  • Driving end-to-end recruitment to attract the best talent to our stable
  • Overseeing smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences
  • Managing payroll with precision and care
  • Coordinating rosters and ensuring we’re always working as one team
  • Acting as a trusted link between staff and management
  • Delivering training programs and championing professional development
  • Organising visa documentation and liaising with migration agents
  • Creating positive moments for the team – from staff events to celebrations
  • Ensuring compliance across payroll tax, HR processes and staff records

 What we’re looking for:

  • A confident HR all-rounder with experience in recruitment, payroll and team leadership
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays calm under pressure
  • A relationship builder who listens, understands and communicates clearly
  • A positive, can-do team player who takes pride in getting things done
  • Experience in racing, agriculture or operations-based industries is a bonus
