Experienced Trackwork Riders - Randwick (Mornings only, no ground work)

John Thompson Racing is seeking highly experienced and capable trackwork riders to join our stable at Randwick.

The successful applicant must be able to ride 8 - 10 horses per morning with particular emphasis on riding pace/timed work, educating young horses and jump outs.

The Role:

• Casual
• Monday - Saturday mornings
• No ground work required!
• Very attractive remuneration

Essential Skills:

• Prior experience riding track work
• Proven ability to train and educate young horses
• Proven as reliable workers, with excellent horsemanship skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment
• Sound knowledge of health and safety obligations
