The Role
- Discuss and implement daily and weekly plans with employer
- Daily horse feeds and checks, adjusting feeds to horse & client requirements
- Managing feed mixes
- Moving horses out to paddocks or up to yards for arrivals and departures
- Identifying and appropriately treating injuries as they arise
- Presenting horses for vet
- Handling mares & foals
- Managing farrier and worming rotations and keeping adequate records thereof
- Keeping records generally
- General upkeep and day to day maintenance of farm, breeding facilities and gardens

Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience
- Equine first aid
- Current drivers license, own transport
- Flexible availability including weekends
- Foaling down/broodmare experience highly desirable
- Experience with cattle and farm work highly desirable

Salary: Hourly Rate $20-$25 commensurate on experience and ability and whether you are casual or permanent
