Thoroughbred facility in Glasshouse Mountains has two positions to fill immediately. Positions can be combined into one full time position. The farm is growing quickly giving opportunities for advancement with above average pay and conditions for applicants who can deliver above average results. Existing recognition and connections to the local thoroughbred industry an advantage but not essential.

____Grounds keeper and maintenance
$25-$30ph, two to three days per week. Primary task is to support the farm manager and owner by keeping the property and lawns tidy. Experience with a variety of equipment and mainenance tasks required. Other farm skills an advantage but not essential (for example, reseeding paddocks). Strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
____Stablehand
$25-$30ph, ~30 hours per week. ~5h per day, 6 days per week. Option to advance in both hours and responsibilities for the right applicant.
You will need:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Experience in horse care and general stable duties
- Mucking stables, feeding horses, general maintenance and tidying
- Swim and treadmill horses
- Recognition within the industry a considerable advantage but not essential
- Admin or business experience an advantage but not essential
