Trackwork Rider and Jockey Coaches Wanted Throughout NSW

Unique Career Opportunity for experienced trackwork riders and retired jockeys in NSW!

Racing NSW is responsible for the leadership and regulation of thoroughbred horse racing in NSW including the provision of services for training in this state.

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for experienced trackwork riders and/or former jockeys  to join the training department of Racing NSW, as Coaches.

We are seeking applicants statewide for casual employment of varying hours and flexibility.

The role would suite someone wishing to provide both leadership and technical coaching to existing participants as well as new industry participants looking to develop the skills to undertake employment as a trackwork rider.

Your role will focus on the successful development of safe and skillful riders.

To be successful in this role you:

• will have substantial experience as a professional jockey or trackwork rider
• are vibrant, innovative and self motivated
• have a strong work ethic and the ability to work well under pressure
• have superior communication and interpersonal skills
• be prepared to travel to various locations if required
• have a current working with children check or prepared to obtain one and

Willingness to obtain a Training and assessment qualification will be highly regarded.
