Trackwork Rider

Ciaron Maher Racing is seeking experienced work/gallop riders to join our Warwick Farm, Moss Vale and Newcastle locations.

The successful applicants will:

• Be able to ride 8 – 10 horses per morning, ability to ride timed work an advantage.
• Have proven ability to train and educate a variety of horses, including those that are young & inexperienced, colts, and seasoned racehorses in barrier education, jumpouts, and timed fast work.
• Be able to take instructions from various people and demonstrate a high level of communication.
• Must be able to work in a team and independently effectively and efficiently.

Full-time position (includes some groundwork). 38hr week.

Start time is dependent on location.

There will be opportunities to attend race days.

Previous experience within a thoroughbred racing stable is a must.

As we are looking for the best of the best, we are offering competitive remuneration with incentives for stellar candidates.

Shared staff accommodation may be available.
