Full Time Stud Hand Position
Zhongli Thoroughbreds, a breeding and racing operation in the NSW Southern Highlands are seeking a Permanent Full-Time staff member to fill the role of Senior Stud Hand.
Preferred applicant will have:
-Knowledge in administering various equine treatments;
-Experience in safely moving horses from paddock to crush;
-Attention to detail, diligence in timely reporting, excellent communication;
-Ability to judge and make decisions;
The duties for this position will include but are not limited to:
• Handling mares, foals and yearlings.
• Making feeds, feeding up and health checks.
• General stable chores.
• Assist vet and farrier.
• Assist with general farm maintenance.
Renumeration based on individual’s experience. An attractive remuneration package with accommodation available for the successful applicant.
