Stable Staff Wanted

Indiana Turner Racing have opportunities available for a motivated and reliable Stable Hand with great horse handling skills and a love for horses in our small 15 Horse hands-on Gold Coast Stable.

Some of the tasks for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Brush/groom, feed, handle, and walk horses.
• Assemble, prepare, and store horse gear as directed
• Clean and maintain stables (Be able to Muck out boxes properly)
• Saddling horses for track work
• Swimming horses
• General stable duties (sweeping & cleaning)

We would prefer applicants to have experience working with horses as you may be required to handle young horses/colts. 

You will need to be physically fit enough to perform this work and be able to carry out instructions by being self motivated and proactive. You would also have your own vehicle and current drivers licence.

Hours of work:

Full Time Position

• Monday to Saturday
• AM shift - 3.30am to 8:00am (approximately)
• PM shift - 2:00pm- 4:30 Pm (approximately)
• Every 2nd Weekend Off

Casual Part Time Position (Mornings Only)

• Monday to Saturday
• AM shift - 3.30am to 8:00am (approximately)

Permanent & Casual Positions Available
Wages on offer are well above Award Standard.
