Position Summary
The Marketing & Brand Specialist will be responsible for developing, managing and executing marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms. This includes content creation, campaign planning, data analysis, brand management, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
You will contribute to business growth by improving brand visibility, enhancing customer engagement and ensuring consistent, high-quality marketing output.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Prepare annual and quarterly marketing plans, budgets and promotional calendars.
- Identify opportunities to expand brand awareness and market reach.
Content Creation & Communications
- Create and edit digital and print content including website updates, newsletters, social media posts, brochures and advertising material.
- Write, proofread and edit marketing copy to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
- Coordinate photo shoots, creative briefs, and design updates with designers and contractors.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Plan and execute online and offline campaigns including promotions, product launches, paid media and PR.
- Coordinate with suppliers, media partners and internal teams to ensure campaign accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage distribution of marketing materials across platforms and stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyse market trends, website analytics, customer insights and campaign results.
- Prepare ROI reports and performance summaries to inform future marketing decisions.
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging industry trends.
Stakeholder & Brand Management
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers and media representatives.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and presentation across all communication channels.
- Support public relations activities including drafting media releases, coordinating case studies and seeking media opportunities.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements :
- Minimum 2 years full-time relevant work experience in a marketing, communications or brand management role.
- Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing activities and campaigns.
- Strong writing, communication and content development abilities.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite highly regarded.
- Ability to interpret data, analyse trends and produce marketing performance reports.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
Highly Desirable:
- Experience in retail, sport, equine, hospitality or agency environments.
- Experience managing budgets and planning multi-channel campaigns.
- Understanding of SEO, analytics tools, and digital marketing metrics.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Employer Sponsorship Available
Salary: $70,000–$90,000 + Super (depending on experience)
