JUNIOR FOREPERSON

John Thompson Racing is seeking a competent person to assist with the running of our stable at Randwick as a Junior Foreperson.

The right applicant will be mature, hard-working and have excellent communication skills.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Organising the running of the daily track work and afternoon stables routine
• Managing and instructing staff
• Communicating to John and the Senior Foreman any issues or problems with horses or staff
• Assisting with veterinary treatments
• Take full charge when senior foreman is not present
• Represent the stable on race days and trials

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

This job role would suit someone who is ambitious and wanting to take the next step in their career in the racing industry and enhance their current skills.
