Corboy Thoroughbreds is currently seeking a highly experienced and capable Horse Trainer to join our team this is a full-time and ongoing position.
Essential Skills Must have a minimum 2 - 3 years full time professional experience in a similar role, or 2 years full time experience and a relevant qualification. In addition the following will be required:
- Knowledge and experience of horse training and handling methods specific to Thoroughbred Racing
- Experience in track work
- Proven ability to train and educate young horses
- Verbal and written communication skills of a level to take instruction and provide information
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Knowledge of safe operation of all equipment and use of personal protective equipment The position will be full-time with the salary above award in the range of $77,500 - $78,500 + superannuation.
