Little Wych Stud Bathurst NSW
We have a great opportunity for an experienced stud hand to join our established team at Little Wych. As a member of the Little Wych team you will get a chance to further develop your horse husbandry skills and knowledge of breeding and spelling.
The property is privately owned and operates a mixed farming enterprise that consists of a boutique thoroughbred horse breeding stud, a horse spelling enterprise and a mixed farming enterprise consisting of lucerne hay production, cattle fattening etc that is based at Bathurst NSW. The property consists of 3 properties, in close proximity to each other, totaling approximately 500 acres. The property is only 5 kilometers from the Bathurst CBD (population 45,000 people). A driver’s licence is essential.
Reporting to the Owner, the successful applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience in the breeding and spelling sector, and will be proficient in the following areas:
The successful applicant will be proactive and forward thinking with the ability to work unsupervised while taking responsibility for the outcomes of their work. They will work closely with the owner and staff to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
A competitive salary package is available, commensurate with experience.
Part Time position
A part time position is also available that will involve work on the weekend. The work will involve a knowledge of horses and handling of Thoroughbred and Standardbred horses
