Anthony & Sam Freedman Racing are seeking an experienced and motivated Foreman to join our Pinecliff stable in Mount Eliza.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven team leader to play a key role in overseeing the care and wellbeing of both our horses and staff within a high-performing operation.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily stable operations and implement the trainer’s programs for each horse.
• Manage staff rosters across full-time, part-time, riding, and casual team members.
• Maintain accurate horse records in line with the Australian Rules of Racing.
• Coordinate transport logistics for races, trials, jump-outs, and paddock movements.
• Liaise with external providers including veterinarians, farriers, and feed suppliers.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and team-focused working environment.
• Represent the stable at race meetings when required, liaising with jockeys, owners, and staff.
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Trainers.
About You
• Proven experience in a racing stable, ideally in a Foreman or senior role.
• Confident horse handler with experience in educating and managing horses.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Rules of Racing.
• High standards of communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
• Committed to maintaining best practice in horse welfare and workplace safety.
