A foreman opportunity has come up at Marc Chevalier Racing, located on Hawkesbury Racecourse.

Growing Stakes winning stable opened three years ago, we are growing in quality and quantity, and now need a foreperson to help managing the stable.

Ideal job for a young, motivated stablehand looking to step up in his/her career, you will be responsible of the smooth running of the trackwork mornings, and will be working hand in hand with the trainer. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor horses health and well-being
• Organise ground work
• Treat horses when required
• Take horses and represent the stable at the races

Essential skills required:

• Team worker and reliability
• Love of the horses and of the racing game
• Can-do attitude
• Will to learn and improve

Well above award rate wage will be offered to the successful applicant.
