Farm Manager - Aristia Park

An incredible opportunity exists to become Farm Manager of Aristia Park where the successful applicant will oversee the management of both a thriving racehorse spelling operation as well as an up-and-coming breeding enterprise.

Role includes:

• Management of Aristia Park’s 80 acre equine facility that has undergone significant infrastructure upgrades in the past 3 years.
• Managing all aspects of spelling 40-60 racehorses for some of Australia’s leading trainers including Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott, Trent Busuttin & Natalie Young, Annabel Neasham, Simon Zahra, Mat Ellerton and more.
• Oversee a commercial broodmare band of 20-25 mares and foals with the opportunity to oversee/participate in yearling preparation, weaning of foals and assist in strategic decisions on all aspects of key clients broodmare operations.
• Lead a team of enthusiastic workers dedicated to their roles at Aristia Park whilst being able to educate staff.
• Managing all aspects of spelling, rehabilitation and recovery daily care. Ability to administer medications (intravenous and intramuscular injections, oral medications) to all horses under veterinary care.

The ideal candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate their skills in the above listed roles as well as possessing excellent communication with staff and ability to liaise with trainers and their staff. 

The successful candidate(s) will receive an attractive remuneration package including above award salary package and will also be provided with a modern 4 bedroom homestead.
