Experienced Trackwork Rider Wanted

Indiana Turner Racing based on the Gold Coast is currently seeking an experienced track work rider to join our team.  About The Role

• 4:00 -8am (approx.)
• Monday to Saturday
• Experience riding timed gallops, jump outs (flexible) and educating young horses essential.
• Ability to ride 6-8 horses per morning.
• Opportunity to ride seasoned racehorses, along with well educated young stock.

Essential criteria:

• Must have proven experience riding track work.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Excellent horse handling skills.
• Be able to work in a team and independently.
• Be empathetic to the role and animal.

Who we are ? We’re a small stable with 15 horses in work. We’re a young and extremely hard working crew and are looking to employ someone who takes pride in their work and wants our success to be theirs. We will aim to offer excellent working conditions and top remuneration to the successful applicants. Above award wages are guaranteed. The successful Applicant will receive a Full time Salary of ($70-$75,000 Per Annum) depending on Experience and abilities/limitations. A Casual Part Time position can also be offered if that suits the individual better.

Afternoon shifts and Raceday strapping can also be made available to increase wages to the higher end of the Pay Bracket as well.
