Myrtle House Stables is looking for an experienced track rider/Stablehand to join a young, energetic team and their growing list of tried horses and yearlings. Set up in February 1st this year, we are now in a recruitment phase and are keen to employ people with a strong understanding of the racing industry, a depth of experience working for winning metro/provincial stables and a hunger to see a small start-up stable grow into a well established and respected training base.
We are committed to providing industry endorsed working conditions, from casual riding contracts to full time salaries as well as upward movement and career progression opportunities.
The role will allow the applicant the opportunity to help sculpt working schedules, race programmes and general education routines for each horse under our care with a view to sharing every success achieved.
