We require an experienced track rider to join our team based at the Ballarat Racecourse (Miners Rest) - which is fast becoming the most in demand training centre in Victoria.
The successful applicant must be experienced at riding slow and fast work to time, be reliable, kind, honest and a team player.
Salary will be offered in accordance with experience and ability and on-site accommodation is available.
Morning hours are 5-9.30am, with afternoon shifts and race day attendances also available.
Dan O'Sullivan Racing is a family based business with a fantastic, loyal team. We have up to 30 horses in work at any one time.
Ballarat is a large regional city with all the conveniences of the metropolitan area but a friendly, country atmosphere.
International applicants must have a valid visa - Miners Rest is classified as a regional area of Australia.
Year 3+ Interstate apprentices aspiring to transfer to Victoria are encouraged to apply. Couples are also welcome to apply.
