Experienced Stable Staff Required

Do you have experience working in a fast-paced stable environment where dedication and attention to detail are paramount? If so, we want you to join our team at Vandyke Racing, based at Corbould Park on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Daily care and management of horses and junior staff.
• Implementing procedures, systems, and schedules developed by the trainer.
• Monitoring horses for soundness, injury, or illness.
• Following feeding, supplement, and stable vet schedules.
• Record keeping.
• Race day preparation and attendances.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with thoroughbreds.
• A willingness to work hard and adapt to change quickly.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of horse care, including identifying injuries and administering treatments.
• Strong communication and time management abilities
