The following full time position has become available at Kia Ora Stud, a leading private thoroughbred stud near Scone.
It is an immaculate farm, which aims to maintain its stud surrounds and residence areas at a high standard.
This farm needs a new and enthusiastic member to join their Garden staff, to undertake the following key responsibilities
You will need:
- Horticultural industry experience (essential)
- An eye for detail
- The ability to work to schedules and deadlines
- The physical strength to perform heavy lifting, landscaping, and general maintenance duties for extended periods of time
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team to reach goals
- Is reliable and punctual with great communication skills and work ethic.
Desired skills:
Cert 2 or 3 in Horticulture / Parks And Gardens
5 years + in similar or garden maintenance roll
Knowledge of dripper / pop-up irrigation installation and maintenance
Hedging experience
Current Australian drivers license essential.
Experience in the safe operation and basic maintenance of lawn mowers and garden equipment.
Chemical Certificate and Chainsaw Operations skills desirable.
