Ciaron Maher Racing is seeking an experienced fast work/gallop rider to join our Warwick Farm team.
The successful applicants will:
Be able to take instructions from various people and demonstrate a high level of communication.
Must be able to work in a team and independently effectively and efficiently.
Be able to ride 8 – 10 horses per morning, with a particular emphasis on riding pace/timed work.
Have proven ability to train and educate a variety of horses, including those that are young & inexperienced, colts and seasoned racehorses in barrier education, jumpouts, and timed fast work.
The role is Monday to Saturday, 3:30 am – 9:30 am. This time is approximate and will vary depending on business needs.
We have options for full-time (includes some groundwork), casual (mornings only).
There will be opportunities to attend race days.
Previous experience within a thoroughbred racing stable is a must.
