Dynamic role for an experienced EA/ PA

Able to work autonomously and be the right hand to a busy CEO

Racing Australia is the peak national body comprising Australia’s eight State and Territory Principal Racing Authorities (PRAs) which regulate the Thoroughbred racing and breeding industry.

Racing Australia does this through administering and amending the Australian Rules of Racing and rules of the Australian Stud Book, the provision of integrity, genetic testing and research and development through our Equine Genetics Research Centre, provision of software and services to manage the core transactions of the national industry, provision of processing services for some PRAs and management and licensing of racing content on behalf of the PRAs. Racing Australia has offices located in Sydney, Melbourne and Scone.

The role is located in our Sydney CBD office and is a permanent full time position.

As an Executive Assistant you will support the CEO, Executive and Board and Committees by providing administration, information and communications management.

About the Role:

· Screening telephone calls

· Diary Management

· Inbox Management

· Assist in preparation of reports and correspondence

· Maintain filing system

· Travel and accommodation co-ordination

· Organise events and functions

· Co-ordinate Board and Committee meetings including preparing Board Packs, Agendas, taking and distributing minutes and action schedules

· Co-ordinate International Meetings

· When required minute taking of Board and Committee meetings

· Build, strong, open, and collaborative relationships

· Operate with absolute discretion and confidentiality

About you:

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective relationships across all levels

· 5+ years of experience working in an Executive Assistant capacity

· Highly motivated and keen to demonstrate initiative

· Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office package

· Demonstrated general business analytics and issue resolution capacity

· Organised and methodical with great attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to anticipate needs

· Tactful professional with effective stakeholder management and engagement skills

· Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build strong, open, collaborative and trusting relationships
