Located in the picturesque Upper Hunter Valley, Baramul Stud have a position opening for a nine (9) day, Area Manager.
Focusing on the care and management of our post foaling mares and their newborn foals, this is a very rewarding role that requires dedication, passion, teamwork and a high attention to detail.
What is required for this role
Experience in the following:
Foaling mares and their aftercare
Neonatal foal care
Ability to carryout:
Team leadership of day staff and night watch staff
Implementing WHS policies
Maintaining the 9 Day area to a high standard
Collaborating closely with other managers, vets and professionals

High standard accommodation supplied on site
This position requires working every 2nd weekend with 1/2 day Friday included in weekends off.
Remuneration will be competitive for the right applicant
On the job training available with further mentoring and education
Position commencement early July
This position is an ideal stepping stone for an applicant looking to move into a management roll, for both experienced thoroughbred stud employees and also horse professionals looking to develop their career in the thoroughbred industry.
