Essential Skills: All applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of full time professional experience in the role and be able to prove you are a reliable worker with excellent skills. In addition, the following skills will be required: Knowledge & experience of horse training & handling methods specific to thoroughbred racing & breeding; proven ability to train and educate young horses; oral & written communication skills to a level to take instructions & provide information; ability to work in a team & independently; sound knowledge of health & safety obligations & demonstrated skills in safe operation of equipment relevant to training & preparation of racehorses. Desirable Qualification: A Certificate III or equivalent International qualification.
