Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing are seeking a full-time truck driver based at our Randwick, NSW training facility. We require a professional and reliable candidate to transport horses as necessary to track work, to the beach, to spelling farms, to trials and races.
The successful candidate will:
- Have their current HR licence
- Maintain a clean driving record
- Have a sound knowledge of the locations of spelling farms and race tracks in NSW and interstate
- Be skilled with horses and able to handle them safely and with care
- Be able to accurately identify horses
- Have the ability to manage any problem loaders
- Take responsibility for the cleanliness of the truck, and clean each truck bay after it is used
- Occasionally be required to travel interstate and/or overnight (when allowed), transporting horses between our Randwick and Flemington stables and to races and farms in other states
The days are Monday to Friday, and every second Saturday.
