Cumani Racing has an exciting opportunity for an experienced track rider to join its team based on Ballarat Racecourse, Miner Rest, Victoria. Miners Rest is a 15 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat where all the attractions of a modern city can be found. Melbourne is a further 1hour 15 minutes by both car and rail.
It is recommend but not essential that the successful applicant has private transport and will demonstrate the following skills:
• Ride both slow work and fast work to time
• The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• General stable duties are part of the role and excellent horse handling skills are a must
Good references from previous employers essential.
Miners Rest is classified as a regional area of Australia and applicants looking to fulfil their regional work obligations in order for a visa extension are also welcome to apply.
