  • Assist in maintaining areas around the race track including track gutters, mechanical lure system, starting boxes, fencing, lawn areas, garden beds and inside of race track
  • Assist in the conduct of trials and race meetings
  • General repairs and maintenance duties

About You

To be considered for this role you will ideally need:

  • Previous experience in a curator role, either in the racing industry or a similar field (eg greens keeper, sports oval preparation etc)
  • Ability to work within a team environment and to positively influence culture, yet work autonomously without supervision
  • Ability to be flexible with hours and weekend work (noting that Angle Park races on Monday and Thursday nights)
  • Attention to detail and a sense of pride in the quality of your work and level of output
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic mechanical and handyman skills are essential, with some previous experience in track/grounds curating, welding and irrigation systems
  • Valid SA Driver’s license

Benefits

  • Career development and training
  • Be part of a dedicated and supportive work environment
  • Challenging and varied role
