An opportunity for a full-time Track Curator/Grounds Maintenance Officer has recently become available. This position will provide the absolute highest quality in preparation and maintenance to the Angle Park greyhound racing facility.
About the Organisation
Greyhound Racing South Australia (GRSA) is the body responsible for the regulation and management of the South Australian greyhound racing industry. Angle Park is the spiritual home and premier greyhound racing facility in the state. Racing twice a week (Monday/Thursday nights) and also trialing twice per week (Wednesday night and Saturday morning), activity at Angle Park is constant throughout the year, with the preparation of a safe and consistent racing surface being of critical importance.
The Opportunity
GRSA is looking for a self-motivated, flexible person with good communication skills to fill this full-time position. Working closely with Head of Industry Maintenance, you will be managing the day to day preparation of the race track for trials and race meetings, along with preparation of the straight training track onsite. In addition to these key responsibilities, the role will also incorporate general maintenance in other areas of the facility.
