Description

Swettenham Stud is an Australian & Family-owned Stud Farm based in Nagambie, Victoria and boasts one of Australia's most enviable stallion rosters with a long-term view to the industry.

Over the past 5 years, Swettenham Stud has experienced growth through investment in superior stallions, added infrastructure and staff development.

The Role Encompasses responsibilities including:

  • Manage up to 5 direct reports including Stallion Manager, Broodmare Manager, Gardening and Maintenance Manager and Stud Secretary as well as a large number of indirect reports.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Swettenham Stud including facilitation of stallion services, walk-ins, walk-outs, foalings, Farrier and Vet work
  • Hire, manage and develop staff across all sectors of the business whilst working closely with each department manager on their management skills
  • Oversee and manage all external consultants including feed management, vehicle maintenance and pasture management.
