Vinery Stud is currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated person to join our team in a full-time position as stallion handler. Previous experience is preferred but is not necessary and on-farm training will occur in the role over time.
This will be a varied role and tasks will include all aspects of horse husbandry in both the arrivals and stallion areas as well as feeding, grooming, parading, assisting with veterinary and farrier work, and assisting with covers.
The successful applicant will have experience with horses, have the ability to work well within a team, and will possess a high level of professionalism and dedication.
Vinery Stud is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Scone, in the Hunter Valley. A competitive remuneration package will be provided with the option of on-farm accommodation.
