Stablehands

Shane Nichols Racing has positions available at Moorooduc for enthusiastic and reliable stablehands.

Duties will include:

• Daily horse care and handling such as saddling, hosing, grooming
• Loading / unloading trucks
• Attending to horses in stripping shed at track work
• General stable cleaning and maintenance

No experience is required and there are no age restrictions. Would suit an active senior.

We are happy to provide on the job training.

There are 2 positions: one is full time, starting at 3.30am til 8.30 / 9am 6 mornings a week, 2 to 3 afternoons a week and every 3rd weekend. No accommodation available. The second position is for weekend work.

You will work with a good team of 12 employees so applicant will need to work well in a team environment. Applicant must be punctual and reliable.
