Leading Tasmanian thoroughbred trainer Trinder Racing is seeking a Stablehand to join our Devonport stable.

Trinder Racing is based in the relaxed surrounds of Spreyton, just to the south of Devonport on the North-West Coast of Tasmania.
Our stables are located on a private property and we also have a 50 acre property at Latrobe, just 5 minutes from the main stables.
Adam Trinder currently sits on top of the Tasmanian trainers premiership with 36 winners at a 30% winning strike rate and is best known for training the Group 1 winning mare Mystic Journey, winner of the 2019 Australian Guineas and inaugural All Star Mile.
This is a full time position.
Horse experience is a must, as is an ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
There is the possibility to upskill to trackwork riding for the right applicant.
The right candidate must have the ability to:
Saddle
Wash
Handle all types of horses
Feed
Rug Horses
Unload and load horse onto the truck
With a willingness and motivation to learn to:
You will be required to hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and be able to attend race days, which are typically Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Short term accommodation is available.
Wages above the Horse & Greyhound Award rates are offered commensurate to experience.
