We are looking for casual stable hands who are able to assist with the following duties:
* mucking stables and yards
* Rugging/ unrugging horses
* Making feeds and feeding
* Tacking/ untacking horses
* General duties involved in the upkeep of a spelling and pre training farm
* Providing basic medical care as required
The ideal candidate will have:
* strong attention to detail
* Reliable transport
* Punctuality and reliability
* Willingness to learn
* Confidence handling yearlings, colts and fit race horses
* Experience in the racing/ performance industry is desired however not necessary
* A good attitude, great work ethic and love for the horse is above all else!
We offer above award wages starting at $27+ per hour.
There is onsite accomodation available for the right applicant if desired.
