Stable Hand

The Kacy Fogden Racing Team is expanding and looking for a motivated individual to apply as a stable hand.

The stable hand's role involves the daily care and handling of racehorses, swimming, race day attendance, assist with maintaining and cleaning stables. Applicant must have prior race horse experience and hold a current stablehand licence or be able to successfully apply for one via QRIC. On farm share accommodation available.

The successful applicant will be well above award wage which, can be discussed in the interview process.

The successful applicant will also need to display.

• A strong work ethic and reliability
• Punctual
• The ability to take directions and follow instructions closely.
• Good communication skills.
• Safe handling of young horses.
