Located just outside Melbourne in Romsey this growing stable requires a stable foreman or assistant trainer to play an integral role in this stable.
The successful applicant will be required to do the following -
Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the stable.
Manage a large number of enthusiastic staff.
Attend race days as both a strapper and/or stable representative.
Communicate effectively with the trainer to ensure every horse is given the best of care.
Applicants must:
Comfortably manage stable staff and their rosters.
Have excellant horse handling skills with a calming and quiet nature.
Be reliable and punctual.
Be passionate about the racing industry and working with a committed team to create a happy and successful work environment.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
