Stable Foreman / Assistant Trainer

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Stable Foreman to join the Portelli Racing team (based at Warwick Farm), starting immediately.

The successful candidate will:

• Ensure the efficient, effective and safe day-to-day running of the yard.
• Attend race days as a stable representative.
• Assist our stable veterinarian with treatments and schedules.
• Ensure the well-being of all employees and horses is regarded with the highest importance.
• Taking full charge during Trainers absence both on course and stables.

Applicants must:

• Be capable of effectively managing stable and staff.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Have transportation and a current driver’s license.

This job role will suit someone who's ambitious and wanting to lead a successful Sydney metropolitan stable!

Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
