Stable Foreman

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join Warren Krongold Racing as Stable foreperson. You will be responsible for the day to day care, health and nutrition for horses in training in accordance with the horse training plan, workplace procedures and requirements. You will work under the direction of the co-trainers in carrying out and leading the set training regime.

As foreperson you are responsible for the management and direction of the ground staff and track riders to ensure the best results for the stable.

Task include:

• Supervise daily operations including groundwork, walker, swimming as well as stable cleaning and maintenance of gear and equipment and facilities.
• Supervise daily care of horses, including routine health checks, recognising ailments and signs of injury.
• Ensure the feeding regime is adhered to and to highlight any issues.

Ideally you already have experience leading a team in a foreperson position. You will possess excellent people skills and understand the pressures of stable life. You will have top horsemanship skills with full understanding of the treatment regimes of a leading stable,

You will need a clean drivers licence, have high levels of ambition and are prepared to work out of hours and weekends.
