Rosemont Stud is one of Victoria’s most progressive stud farms, emerging as a leading provider of thoroughbred services covering breeding and spelling near the major regional centre of Geelong.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Spelling Manager has become available within our team.  You will be an instrumental part in the farm’s success.  This role could be ideal for someone with Racing Stable experience but prefers the later starts!

The successful candidate will be an outstanding team player with excellent communication skills and high levels of organisational management, accuracy and attention to detail.

The role is hands on and will require competence in all facets of Horse Management including but not limited to;

• General care of spellers.
• Liaising with clients and trainers.
• Assisting and scheduling of routine vetting, farrier visits, feed suppliers and other related service providers.
• Developing and administrating feed, vitamin, supplement and medication schedules.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Maintaining Ardex database.
