Senior Stud Hand – Treatment Co-ordinator
Baramul Stud is one of the largest privately-owned breeding enterprises in Australia, and has one of the highest quality broodmare bands in the industry. With over 300 mares on farm, and a long history of success in the industry, Baramul is now looking for a Senior Stud Hand to join our young, dynamic team. We are looking for an experienced(3 years+) Senior Stud Hand, to be our Treatment Co-Ordinator in a vet nurse focused role, and play an important part in the care of our mares, foals, and yearlings. Your experience with mares both pre and post foaling, coupled with the appropriate care of newborn foals, will be paramount to you being a success in this role. You will have excellent communication skills along with strong administrative skills, and your time management and organisational skills should be of the highest quality. It is essential that you have experienced vet nursing skills, including being capable of administering both IM/IV treatments, bandaging and experience assisting with surgeries including preparation and post recovery. Qualifications would be highly regarded, however not essential.
