Senior Stable Hand - Gold Coast

The New Breed Racing team is looking for a motivated individual to apply as a senior stable hand.

The stable hands role involves the daily care and handling of thoroughbred racehorses, swimming, race day attendance, assist with maintaining and cleaning stables. Applicant must have prior race horse experience.

The successful applicant will be well above award wage which, can be discussed in the interview process.

The successful applicant will also need to display.

• A strong work ethic, absolute reliability and strong sense of responsibility.
• Punctuality
• Be physically fit
• The ability to take directions and follow instructions closely.
• Good communication skills.
• Safe handling of young horses.
• Identify factors that affect racehorse performance.
