The Sale Turf Club requires a Senior Groundsman to support the preparation and maintenance of both the racing (turf) and training (turf, sand and dirt) tracks along with the upkeep of the club’s grounds and facilities.
An understanding of turf management would be beneficial. Experience in maintaining and operating machinery as well as attending to general maintenance duties is also preferred.
The successful applicant would be required to be a key member of the track management team. Ongoing maintenance and management of the off course facilities would be a key role under the supervision of the Track Manager.
Full Time – 38 hour week (8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday) with some need for flexible work hours when we race on Sundays.
