Cityview Farm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-time Resident Stud Hand as well as a casual Stud Hand to join our dedicated team. Cityview Farm operates as a thoroughbred mare farm located in Gisborne South, Victoria.
Stud Hands are responsible for the routine care, welfare and handling of broodmares, foals, weanlings, yearlings and spellers. Stud Hands also assist with preparation of bloodstock for sales, record keeping and client services.
The successful full-time applicant is expected to have experience foaling down mares including caring for and monitoring mare and foals both pre- and post-foaling.
