Kitchwin Hills are seeking a Stallion Groom for the upcoming Breeding Season. This position would be ideal for someone who has previous experience with stallions, although this position is suitable as a step up in your career – a great opportunity for someone who has being working with yearlings and are ready to take the next step into Stallion Handling.
You will be working with two stallions - Sooboog & Graff! Both with exceptional temperaments and you will be working directly with the Stallion Manager and Stud Manager to ensure your skills are developed correctly and safely.
Your duties will include daily routine stallion care and covers, plus other aspects of stud work, such as working with broodmares and foals, yearling handling/parades, feeding, mucking out as well as assisting with vetting as required. You will be required to keep the stallion area maintained to a high standard in conjunction with our maintenance team.
