Due to some exciting developments at Aquis Farm, a rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Broodmare Manager to join our team in the Gold Coast, QLD.
This is a senior role on the farm where you will be responsible for supporting the Stud Manager in overseeing the overall breeding operations, including foaling, yearling prep, broodmare management and will assist with the day-to-day management of the stud breeding team.
Applicants must have prior experience in broodmare management with a strong technical and general medical understanding of caring for broodmares and the foaling down process and must be capable in monitoring, evaluating and responding to changes in mare behaviour. You also must have demonstrated experience and confidence in leading an engaged team and fostering best practice outcomes in all areas of their work.
