The Company

Within the Australian Thoroughbred Racing Industry, Racing Australia (RA) provides a number of integrated products & services nationally to Principal Racing Authorities (PRA), Race clubs, Owners, Trainers, Breeders, Jockeys and Racing Enthusiasts. RA also fulfils an important role in managing the industry's racing materials on a national basis.

The Racing Australia Service Centre is seeking a casual employee to deliver a variety of high-quality customer service functions to its customer base.

The key functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Managing and responding to Racing Australia customers by phone and email.
• Manage requirements for PRA's, Race Clubs and Industry Participants.
• Building and maintaining working relationships with Racing Australia Customers.
• Assist with the collation and processing of racing materials for all states and territories in line with deadlines.
• Provide phone and administrative support in the day to day operations of the Racing Australia Service Centre and to other parts of the business.

Fixed shifts will be available for both Saturday and Sunday (AM) with a view to further train and cross skill the employee in other roles across the Service Centre.

You will have

• A demonstrated experience in the delivery of a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment;

• The ability to effectively communicate with a range of customers both written and orally;

• A competent level of operational IT skills and experience including Windows based environment, with superior skills in Word, Excel and Outlook;
• A proven ability to work constructively within a team; and

• Flexibility to work through processes to be able to multi task on a variety of work functions at the same time

Thoroughbred racing knowledge or experience would be highly regarded.
