Super Gardens is Victoria’s longest standing, privately owned Commercial Landscape Construction, Gardens and Grounds Maintenance and Sports Turf Management business' servicing a diverse range of clients for over 30 years.

With a long standing partnership with the Melbourne Racing Club, we provide gardening, grounds and track maintenance services to both Caulfield and Sandown Racecourses. We have an opportunity for experienced Qualified Gardener to join our team at Caulfield Racecourse.

Experience in a similar role, with a background in grounds maintenance and gardening is essential, as your responsibilities will include:

• Grounds maintenance including: mowing, pruning, edging, weeding, leaf and rubbish removal;
• Mixing, decanting and spraying chemicals;
• Use a range of equipment including: hand tools; blower, hedger, whipper snipper and push mower etc.;
• Identification and treatment of weeds, pests and diseases;
• Planting trees, shrubs and annuals;
• Stripping and replanting garden beds;
• Feeding and fertilisation of plants; and
• Other tasks may include gardening, turf duties, mowing, watering, operation of ride on machinery, raking and any other reasonable horticultural and facility maintenance related tasks.

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong horticultural background in lawn and gardening maintenance;
• A manual drivers licence is preferred;
• Relevant qualification preferred;
• Chemical Users Licence (ACUP) is preferred; and
• Knowledge of irrigation systems is preferred.
